Seaweed and algae are the food of the future. As a result of the population increase, there is less room for classical agriculture, which made Arnold de Jaeger and Seppe think. In unspoiled areas such as the Eastern Scheldt and Zeeland you can find wonderful sea vegetables, sea herbs, seaweed and algae that have subtle salty flavours. Instead of transporting them to the city for harvesting, Arnold and Seppe try to find ways to grow them in sea containers. An innovative project based on food sustainability and rising environmental concerns that is still in its infancy.
