In 2013 a journalist of newspaper De Standaard described Seppe Nobels as one of the founders of urban farming in Belgium. This statement was later confirmed by many other chefs and foodies. Thanks to his cooking style and passion for locally grown and seasonal cuisine, Seppe put urban agriculture back in the spotlight. With a herb garden and a few beehives on the roof of Graanmarkt 13, Seppe has been engaged in urban farming for years: more than 100 herbs and a few lesser-known types of vegetables are the source of his green kitchen inspiration. Fresh and hand-picked. Nectar for man and bee.
